Thomas the Tank Engine booked to ride the “Reading” R.R.!

All aboard! Plan to take a trip to the Burlington Public Library’s  “Central Station” on Sat February 3 for a fun day of stories, model trains, and train-themed activities.

Drop by Centennial Hall, 9.30am to 4.30pm, to watch garden-scale model trains in action. There is no cost to attend, but donations toward construction of the model railway diorama will be gratefully appreciated.

For our preschool “passengers” @10.30-11.30am:

“Adventures on the Island of Sodor” features an operating Thomas the Tank Engine with Annie and Clarabelle along with exciting stories about Thomas & friends

For all ages @2-3.30pm:

“Burlington in the Golden Age of Steam” offers a nostalgic look at our grandparents’ life around the Freeman Station.  It’s a part of Burlington’s Heritage Month.

Presented in partnership by Friends of Freeman Station and the Burlington Public Library
