The model railway team at Freeman Station met on Saturday August 18th to celebrate commencement of Phase 1 of the construction of the Lower Level Railway Diorama.
The team viewed some operating G scale train equipment and models, some test lighting and a video projection test, and reviewed design concepts, and identified next steps in the project. Several new folks volunteered their talents.
The diorama team has established regular work days and hours:
You are invited to stop past on Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday afternoons between 1 PM and 3 PM to see the Lower Level and learn how plans for building the historic model railway layout and the teaching diorama are shaping up.
(More details on the project are available at the “Diorama” menu item above.)
